International Conference (held each March)
This includes format of event, speaker invitations, development of program, including potential speakers, recommended policy and sites, and promotion of event to members, prospective members and industry.

The Program Committee Chair is traditionally the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors and is assisted by two Assistant Chairs: the Board Chair (who chaired the Program Committee the previous year) and the Education Committee Chair. The Committee Chair designates members of the Committee at his/her discretion. The Chair reports to the Board Chair.

The Education Committee is responsible for the following activities:

Promote and Present Captive Information/Sessions
This includes promotion of presentation opportunities to other organizations, such as RIMS, coordination and development of presentations to other organizations, and monitoring opportunities for continuing education with CICA.

Coordinate Educational Materials
Maintain and revise, as needed, CICA’s Captives: An Overview publication.

Foster Relationships and Involvement with Other Organizations
This includes coordination of involvement and communication with captive organizations, and Coordination and development of educational materials where appropriate with other organizations.

Ad-Hoc Projects
Additional projects that may be designated by the Board or President.

The Education Committee Chair is a volunteer position, which is appointed by the Association's Board Chair. The Chair has a one-year, renewable term coinciding with the annual meeting of the Association. The Chair designates a volunteer Committee with a size to be at his/her discretion. The Committee reports to the Board Chair.

The Fronting Survey Report Committee is responsible for the following activities:

Production and Distribution of Fronting Survey Report
This includes designing the Fronting Survey Report, production and distribution of Survey, involving as many domiciles as practical, and compiling survey results and issuing information as needed to membership, media and industry.

Ad-Hoc Projects

This includes guidance on development and content of the web site, coordination with vendors on web site services, and coordination and suggestion on revenue sources, including advertisements.

CICA Awards Committee

The Awards Committee is appointed by CICA's board chair and is responsible for reviewing nominations and selecting the annual CICA Outstanding Captive Award and the annual CICA Distinguished Service Award.

Awarded for the first time in 2007, The CICA Outstanding Captive Award was created to recognize creative uses of a captive or risk retention group. To nominate a captive or risk retention group for the award, email CICA.

Awarded for the first time in 2006, the CICA Distinguished Service Award was created to recognize individuals or organizations who have made significant contributions to advancing the captive insurance industry. To nominate a colleague for the award, email CICA.
