NOW AVAILABLE!—Fronting Survey Report
Comprehensive Information
Since 2001, CICA has annually conducted an industry survey to gauge the fronting/risk-sharing market. This survey, done in conjunction with a number of prominent domicile associations, has provided valuable insight into the use of fronting.
In addition to concentrating on fronting issues, the scope of the survey has been expanded to include reinsurance issues, employee benefits in captives, and comparative financial information about captives.

INDUSTRY UPDATE:
BREAKING NEWS- CMS Section 111 extended the timeline for registration from 5/1/09-6/30/09 to a broader timeframe of 05/01/2009 to 09/30/2009. They also changed the Medicare eligibility testing period to 7/1/2009 – 3/31/10 and the claim input testing to 01/01/2010 to 03/31/2010. The new "go live" dates are between 04/01/2010 and 06/30/2010. They now require all liability/no fault/workers compensation RREs to submit their first production files based off of a pre-determined schedule set forth by CMS.
