CICA Announces 2014 International Conference Program “Captives: Global Opportunities and Solutions”

MINNEAPOLIS,  Dec. 4, 2013 ─ The Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) announces the conference line-up for the CICA 2014 International Conference March 9-11 at the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. 

This year’s theme “Captives: Global Opportunities and Solutions” reflects the rapidly changing nature of the captive industry.  “Events of recent years have taught us that we live in a connected world.  Every captive will be affected by what happens outside their domicile, whether it is something that the NAIC does or even what the OECD in Paris does, so we have designed a program that will help you do your job at home while understanding global opportunities and solutions,” Says Dennis Harwick, CICA president.   

The CICA International Conference program opens on Monday, March 10 with a keynote address “The O’Shea Report” by Tim and Kris O’Shea. The O’Shea’s session on handling the ups and downs of the fast-paced constantly changing world will entertain and set the stage for conference participants to focus on global strategies.
