Erin Hackett of Crowe LLP fell into a career in captive insurance after initially looking for a career in accounting. After accepting a job with her current company, her coworkers made it clear to her that a CICA membership would benefit her greatly. CICA was one of the first associations Erin joined back in 2017 when she was looking to build her network and connections within the captive industry. Since joining, Erin has become the chair of CICA’s NEXTGen committee and was appointed to the Board of Directors. Erin believes building and maintaining relationships throughout her career is one of her top priorities, which she learned through her mother, whom she says serves as her biggest inspiration.
