CICA 2023 International Conference FAQ

General questions

Will the CICA 2023 International Conference be held in-person?

Yes, the CICA 2023 International Conference will take place from March 5-7, 2023 at the Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California.

Are there any additional networking events this year?

Yes, CICA will be holding two additional networking events in 2023. The Golf Tournament will take place on Sunday, March 5th beginning at 11:00 AM. There is an additional registration fee of $200 that includes green fees and lunch. Golf clubs are available to rent by emailing The Craft Brewery Tour will take place on Sunday, March 5th beginning at 12:00 PM. There is an additional registration fee of $225, which includes lunch and the transportation. Lunch selections for the Craft Brewery Tour are available when registering for the event.

Is there a Conference waiver?

Yes. Please note that all Conference attendees must agree to the terms of the below waiver to attend the 2023 Conference.

I understand and acknowledge that travel to and attendance at the CICA 2023 International Conference (the “Conference”) may increase my risk of exposure to communicable diseases. I understand and acknowledge the contagious nature of communicable diseases and assume the risk of exposure to or infection by attending the Conference. If Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements for events are in place at the time of the CICA conference, I agree to comply with the guidelines.
I understand CICA will be taking photographs at the conference, which may be used in CICA publications or on our website. I will notify CICA in writing if I choose to not have my photo used in publications.

Registration questions

How do I register for the CICA 2023 International Conference?

Attendees can easily register online and select add-on events, review the Conference waiver, and specify any dietary restrictions. Visit our Registration page for links and instructions. Please email with any questions.

When is the early-bird deadline?

Please take advantage of the early bird deadline and register by February 9, 2023!

What are CICA’s payment policies?

CICA accepts all major credit cards, company checks, and ACH transfers for Conference registration.

Please note: Checks will be accepted for registration payments until February 9, 2023. After February 9th, payment must be made via credit card.

Any registration payment not received 10 days prior to the conference will require credit card payment prior to badge pick-up at the registration desk.

Does CICA offer group discounts?

Yes! Three or more registrants from the same company can receive a discount of 10% off each registration. All 3+ group registrations must be received by February 9, 2023 to qualify for the discount. Please email for the group discount code as well as further instructions.

Can I register more than one person from the same company at the same time?

No. Each conference attendee must register online separately.

Why do I see the incorrect registration rate when I try to register online?

The conference registration rates are determined by your membership type in the CICA database. If you believe you should receive a different rate, please email CICA staff at

Will I receive a receipt after I have registered online?

Yes, you will receive an emailed receipt that will summarize your conference registration after payment. Please email if you did not receive a receipt.

How do I choose my golf partner(s) when I register online?

When you register for the golf tournament there is an option to list your preferred partner(s). You can always email CICA at a later time to change or add a requested partner.

How do I cancel my registration and/or substitute a co-worker?

All cancellation/substitution requests must be emailed to CICA Staff for review at Cancellations on or before 2/9/23 are eligible for a refund equal to 75% of the total due. Cancellations after 2/9/2023 are not eligible for a refund, however, substitutions are possible.

If I update my contact information when I register for the conference online, does it update my main record?

No. Your conference registration information will not update your main record. Once logged in, you need to click on “My Account” at the top of the CICA homepage to update your main record and make any permanent changes to your contact information.

I am an exhibitor or sponsor – how should I register for the event?

I am a member of the press – how should I register for the event?

You are welcome to register online. If your company has a trade agreement with CICA, email for your complimentary registration code.
